01 · About

Hey, I'm Neeam.

I'm a Computer Science student at St. John's University in New York who fell for programming through games and never recovered. These days I split my time between coursework, undergraduate research applying AI/ML to healthcare informatics, and building projects that ship — not just compile.

Education

B.S. Computer Science, St. John's University — expected 2028.

Research

AI/ML for healthcare informatics in the Bukhari Lab — making health data usable and intelligent.

Current focus

LLM-powered tools (Teemo), systems fundamentals, and writing weekly about all of it.

There's more to the story — machine learning and cryptography, but also theology, metaphysics, and the notebook that ties it all together.

Experience

Research, coursework, and shipped work — in chronological orbit.

  1. Building · Nov 2025 — Present

    Full-Stack Software Engineer

    AdCamp AI

    • Built a full-stack ads-monitoring platform (React + TypeScript, Express, PostgreSQL) that connects Google Ads accounts into a unified performance dashboard.
    • Designed a secure auth system: JWT + refresh tokens + HTTP-only cookies, token rotation, and protected routing.
    • Built the Google Ads API integration — OAuth, AES-256-GCM encrypted token storage, and dynamic account resolution.
  2. Research · Sep 2025 — Present

    AI/ML Researcher — Healthcare Informatics

    Bukhari Lab, St. John's University

    • Developed a narrative-driven clinician-burnout surveillance framework over 10,000 ICU discharge summaries from MIMIC-IV.
    • Engineered a temporal-dynamics framework modeling burnout as a longitudinal process from timestamped documentation behavior.
    • Co-authored the resulting paper, published in the FLAIRS conference proceedings.
  3. Building · Nov 2024 — Dec 2024

    Full-Stack Engineer Intern

    CaterAnyFood

    • Built a multi-tenant catering platform (Next.js + TypeScript) for real-time order and menu management.
    • Implemented secure auth, REST APIs, and SQL schemas — improving database reliability and access speed by 30%.
  4. Education · 2024 — 2028 (expected)

    B.S. Computer Science · Major GPA 4.0

St. John's University — New York, NY

    • Coursework: object-oriented programming, data structures & algorithms, operating systems.
    • Focus areas: artificial intelligence, machine learning, and full-stack development.

03 · Research

AI/ML × Healthcare Informatics

I work on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to healthcare informatics — making health data more usable, interoperable, and intelligent. The broad goal: help clinical and biomedical data actually talk to the systems (and models) that could learn from it.
